“Raindrops on roses
and whiskers on kittens…”
For starters, the Sound of Music is one of my all time favorite movies (I just watched it again last week.) My sisters, my niece and I went to Austria and spent a few days in Salzburg; we spent one day on a Sound of Music Tour. Yes, we really did. I can still hear an entire bus of strangers singing along to all the music, and yes, I know all the lyrics to “My Favorite Things.”

My favorite presents when I was a little girl were pretty simple – a box a crayons, a pad of paper and Reese’s Miniature Peanut Butter Cups.
Some things never change, except perhaps the price tag! Here are a few of my favorite things from this past year.
