I visited Muir Woods for the first time only a few years ago. There are few words that can describe the awe I felt dwarfed by these ancient beings. Transcendental. These ancient redwood forests are nature’s cathedrals. They have a sacred aura, a feel- ing of having been there forever. We owe it to them to continue to advocate for preserving the remnants of these ancient primordial forests and sacred habitats all throughout the United States.
