I have several favorite spots to walk near my house and most of time I do bring along a camera ‘just in case.’ I was very happy to have captured this moment – it was a warm summer day towards sunset, but the sun was still shining strongly on the field where a flock of American Goldfinches were feeding. This group of evening primrose seemed to be a favorite of the birds. Yellow birds, yellow flowers and yellow evening sunlight. What more could I ask for?!
